Trust awarded EcoVadis Gold for the third year in a row

In exciting news, Trust is pleased to announce that we have once again been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal for the third consecutive year. This recognition places us in the top 5% of companies assessed by EcoVadis in the past 12 months, and the top 2% of companies in the wholesale of computers, computer peripheral equipment and software industry – an astonishing achievement.  

A trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, EcoVadis focuses on four key areas when determining their ratings: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. To achieve a high rating, a company must demonstrate a robust environmental management system, strong social responsibility practices, adherence to high ethical standards, and effective sustainable procurement processes. 

We have taken a number of steps to ensure that sustainability is always at the heart of our company. Over the past year, we have updated policies and our internal strategy to align with the latest ethical and environmental standards. Additionally, our new product lines now feature an increased use of recycled materials, with a focus on reducing, removing and replacing.  

Furthermore, we have expanded our internal ESG training programs to ensure that all employees understand and contribute to our sustainability goals. An extensive employee engagement survey was also conducted, guiding our strategy and reinforcing our commitment to listening to our team. 

In addition, our e-waste disposal methods have been improved, and we have updated our Key Performance Indicators, tracking and setting ambitious new goals for the future. 

To highlight our progress, our annual Impact Report and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) report transparently detail our progress and ongoing efforts in reducing our emissions. While we are honoured to receive EcoVadis Gold for a third year, we acknowledge that our journey towards deeper sustainability is ongoing and ever-evolving; and we’re keen to remain dedicated to making responsible choices that benefit both our community and the environment.
